Possibly, but most likely not. There closed beta was on September 6th. However, they might have one last beta test. Sign up for a BattleNet account and sign up for a beta account. Then you can see if they have any more beta tests for Diablo III.

Intraserver makes an inexpensive, but good quality server. With servers you do not want to go too cheap, because they can fail easier. To save money on servers, but still get a high quality one, check Ebay or scrap yards for servers that are several years old, but still useful.

Hard to imagine anyone is still playing D1. As awesome as it was, it is time to move on and pray for D3 :)

You mean sites that sell in-game items? Most of them shut down with the release of Diablo 3 but I am sure there are still some out there. They are against the TOS however.

The 1.0 servers? That's no. But then again you might find more patched servers than unpatched servers so there's definitely more to play when you patch your game.
