Yes, plenty of sunlight and water
neather lol
well, i think that the plants leaves are the ones that absorb all the water and lets it go through the stem, and, that when the plant grows that is because the plant had the water to reach the top. that s my answer on how plants absorb water from the soil and reaches the top.well, i think that the plants leaves are the ones that absorb all the water and lets it go through the stem, and, that when the plant grows that is because the plant had the water to reach the top. that s my answer on how plants absorb water from the soil and reaches the top.i think its from the rootsWater comes from the soil. The roots absorb the water and the water travels through the xylem of a tree to reach the leaves of a tree. The way water keeps going through the xylem and the tree is because water at the leaves is evaporated and more water from the roots goes through the xylem. The water at the bottom of the roots "pushes" the water up and the evaporating of water at the trees is "pulling" the water up
Because there is no light. Sunlight doesn't reach that far down.
These growth responses are called tropisms. Growing towards the light is called phototropism, and towards the source of gravity is geotropism.
It hardly grows much until you reach Puberty.
well the way that seeds know which way is up is because they are much smarter then you may think. seeds have a sense of where the sunlight is and will continually thrive until they reach the area of sunlight and keep growing to get closer to the sunlight hope that helps alot i am sure it will warm regards Surf babe
Yes, but they will not be as green. Also, plants will naturally grow faster without sunlight in the hope that they will be tall enough to reach sunlight.
actually a bean seed will grow faster in the dark. it grows faster because of its conditions, it has to grow higher to reach any light. Although it may grow faster it has less colour and 'attractiveness' aha. it turns into a white, pale colour, with no leaves.
The Titan arum plant can reach to a height of 7 to 12 feet
You can't see chloroplasts in an onion skin cell since the onion was underground. When the onion is underground, the sun can't reach the onion so the onion skin cells can't make glucose. The onion does have chloroplasts in its cells at the top of the onion. That's where he sunlight can reach the onion.
some plants climb up other plants to reach sunlight,
because there is not enough sunlight to reach the plant so they cant photosynthesis
when the sunlight reaches the plant the plant responses to the light in effect of growth and food. in this case the question is about food the plant knows what to do because it is a stimuli. all it is that the plant wants to be the one to reach the light and have so no other one can but every one knows that is impossible.
Yes can, as long as sunlight can still penetrate thru the water and reach the aquatic plants. *As far as i concern*
By placing the leaf in the boiling water. by putting aluminum foil on the leaf while the plant is growing. (not sure, but maybe by placing the plant in dark where sunlight cannot reach)
Sufficient sunlight does reach coniferous forests otherwise they would not thrive.
the trees limit the amount of sunlight that is able to reach the ground
Sunlight is ultimately the source of all living things except for a few types of small organisms that live at the very bottom of the ocean were sunlight could not possibly reach them. The leaves on trees/plants are a necessity to a healthy plant as they soak up the sunlight, starting a process called Photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process of converting sugar into glucose (glucose being the plants food).
