yes it has a lot of things to do with th writing process.
That depends. When writing historical fiction, it matters a lot if you're writing ffrom the point of view of historical figure.

Fiction can be anything you want. You can have make-believe characters, names, creatures... the sky is the limit! (unless there is no sky) Basically, fiction comes in many forms. There is historical fiction, just pure fiction, fact-fiction, etc. Fiction usually contains things that are not true. You could always take an event that actually happened, but write it from a point of view that either wasn't there or couldn't tell the story. For example, I am writing a book about medieval times. However, none of the characters are real or were real. I include mythical creatures and bonds between people that do not exist. Fiction is basically anything not true or only partly true. Nonfiction can only be written if everything is the truth, so fiction is anything just a little bit less than true to totally false. Hope I helped :)
Before you write
It seems to be an informal third person perspective. It is also in past tense. The book is fiction.

Writing in the 'first person' is writing from the point of view of the writer. In non fiction, the first person would be written as 'In my opinion...', 'I said...', or 'It's my experience...'. In fiction, writing in the first person would be the story being told by the main character or a character in the story observing everything. In a video game this means seeing what the main character sees commonly used in shooters.
The process of writing can be more recursive than linear because it is the act of repeating. It means that you can develop your main point as you go along. For more detailed information, please refer to the related link.
Nonfiction writing refers to works that are based on facts and reality, as opposed to fiction which is based on imagination. Novels are a form of fiction, while fables are short stories with a moral lesson often involving animals as characters. Essays are nonfiction pieces that present and argue a specific topic or point of view.
