the answer to the question is yes!! I just received my mail and it was like i hadn't gotten mail in a week! so yes you will receive you're mail the day after new years day. It may take the mail carrier that delievers to you're home a little longer, but you will get the mail.

∙ 14y agoNo, it is a public holiday. Hardly anyone works on New Year's Day, and that includes any shipment or things from UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.
