Project Management entails planning, organising and controlling the tasks within the project using tools and techniques to achieve results once off whereas Organisational Management is the ongoing or continuous management and improvement of the organisation or the individuals within the organisation.
The customer first must identify the need or problem. some times the problem is identified quickly, as in a case of a disaster such as an earth quake or explosion. In other situation it may take months for a customer to clearly identify a need, gather data on the problem, and define certain requirements that must met by the person, project team, or contractor who will solve the problem. Managing Stakeholders is crucial to the success of any organisation, programme or project. This makes it very important to identify and analyse your stakeholders as early as possible. Firstly identify all of the people who could be affected by the organisation/change/project. Then analyse them using your preferred analysis technique. Once the analysis is complete develop an engagement plan and refer to that frequently to ensure that your stakeholders are managed effectively.
