Yes if the ball is bigger it weighs more and the more weight the ball has the higher it will bounce but the height its dropped from also has to do with the how high it bounces

Not hypothesis. It is a law known to be conservation of energy.

If the energy with which a body thrown upward is kept to be constant, then this kinetic energy will be totally changed into potential when it reaches its maximum height.

The expression for PE is mgh. So for a given energy, if m becomes larger then the height becomes smaller.

So, heavier one reaches less height where as lighter one go to greater heights, provided the energy used remains the same in all cases.

Yes it does. The bigger the ball the more potential energy it has. though the ball will never bounce higher that it is dropped the bigger the ball the faster it drops the higher it will bounce. The ball needs to be flexible enough to bounce though. A Bowling ball does not have enough flexibility.

Yes because if it's too hot the ball would melt and not bounce.
