Does the steering of anyone elses Chevy Malibu lock up on them what about the tires does anyone have problems with this car?

my steering was getting very hard almost to the point of locking up I added p/s fluid and it works well this or the pump neede the boot and my tires were wearing badly and quickly because of the struts replaced them and alignment stopped the problem
