To make sure the wedding flows, any problems are solved, keep to the timeline, distribute final payments and tips, etc. They will do some set up and takedown services (ceremony-aisle runner, pee bows etc.; receiving area mainly, set up of candy bar; make sure your gifts are put away, your guestbook, engagement picture, extra favours etc.). As for major clean up of the actual reception area, your decorator would do that & your venue (although the venue may charge a service fee for this). Having said that, some planners might be able to help out in some way, however since this is not a Wedding Planners duty and would likely cost extra.
