Wedding Planners are there to Manage the event. To make sure the wedding flows, any problems are solved, keep to the timeline, distribute final payments and tips, etc. They will do some set up and takedown services (ceremony-aisle runner, pee bows etc.; receiving area mainly, set up of candy bar; make sure your gifts are put away, your guestbook, engagement picture, extra favours etc.). As for major clean up of the actual reception area, your decorator would do that & your venue (although the venue may charge a service fee for this). Having said that, some planners might be able to help out in some way, however since this is not a Wedding Planners duty and would likely cost extra.
