Yes, weekend counts.
If weekend did not count, they would have said 8-15 Business Days. (Which would be 2-3 weeks)
If you efile approx 4-7 days. If you mailed your return its 3-6 weeks
If you Efile and elect to have your return direct deposited then you could have your return in as little as 8-14 days. If you file a paper return and wait for a check to be mailed to you then it will take a Minimum of 6-8 weeks or longer.
8-15 days if you have no government debt that may require an offset of your return. The difference in days is dependent on when your return was accepted by the IRS E-file system. Returns are usually accepted on the day that they are e-filed.
Efile and direct deposit....should take from 5-7 days....can tk up to 10 tho.
Within 12 business days once it is accepted.

In this case, the weekend counts. The law considers you capable of conducting "thnking" over the weekends and holidays.

I would think 48 hours because that is two days but if you count Friday then 72 hours.
There are 7 days in a week which include 2 days in the weekend. The weekend includes Saturday and Sunday.
104 weekend days.
There are two days in a weekend. Saturday and Sunday are the only days considered to be part of the weekend.
Typically those days can be counted against your sentence. Make sure to inform your lawyer, and the judge if possible.
