Whitening Toothpastes use abrasives to remove surface stains and to prevent the build-up of future stains. Mouthwashes aren't abrasive because there is no brushing away of stains involved in the mouth wash process. Whitening toothpastes can be effective but they will only remove existing stains and won't actually "whiten" your teeth - they will just reveal your natural whiteness that may have been covered up by stains - whitening mouthwashes however will be much less effective because they aren't abrasive in their stain removal.
if you want to physically whiten your teeth then you need to have professional whitening treatment, such as dentist prescribed teeth whitening strips, whitening trays, or in-surgery (chairside whitening).
No it does not. I was wondering the same thing to and I found a whole bunch of people on Yahoo Answers saying it doesn't work.

Mouth wash hydrogen peroxide
If it is WHITE put Hydrogen Peroxide on it and then bleach it, but if its not put Hydrogen peroxide then cold water, then just throw it in the wash with cold water, it has always worked for me.
wash it out with hydrogen peroxide and put a band-aid on it to keep it from getting infected
it hurts, alot. oh and wash with cold water and seek immediate medical attention
There is an enzyme in your body that breaks hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2). These are gases that form bubbles in the water from the hydrogen peroxide and fluids from your body. The idea is that this cleans wounds by getting under the dirt and other particles before being broken down. Then the bubbles lift the dirt and grime out of the wound to wash them away easier.
It's possible. Try it & see if it works! But make sure you wash off the peroxide before putting it into your eyes! Hope it helps(:
wash mouth with peroxide, then swish alot of olive oli right befor the test
I don't know but does Peroxide overtake wash out dye?
Hydrogen Peroxide because this contains the correct 'ph' number that will split the dirt cells and destroy bacteria.
