Other vegetables (fruits) that are bad for gout are asparagus, mangoes and mushrooms. I later learned from my doctor that the blood pressure medicine I am taking can also cause gout by interacting with different foods, the doctor decided to put me on allopurinol to prevent futher gout attacks.
