I wont say it makes us dumber but it can slow your mind up. What I mean is like when you watch TV or play video games etc. Instead of picking up a book or pen and paper you do that all day same for android phones. Your hand writing can get sloppy if you text a lot. Because you don't write as often as you do text you just learned something. :)
