yes, but it depend on what you watch for example you can learn about confidence and self improvement from some anime like baka to test shoukajyuu and it also relieve stress. If you want to be a doctor you can even learn from the anime the blackjack or anime like Ray which are all stuff on doctor and pharmacy. It can also be used to improve your Japanese learning skills.
