Yep, and then it condenses and freezes in the freezer compartment.

A2. And this means that the humidity in the frig is LOW and thus foods that will be damaged by losing water should not be kept in the frig. Unless you live in a rather hot climate, eggs and fruit will lose condition faster in the frig than in a shaded part of a room.
