the water from d dead c dosent flow out.
this is so fricken stupid
Where does the water come from in the dead sea and what are the names of the rivers and tributaries that flow into the dead sea?
The Dead Sea.
The dead sea is not called the dead sea because people sink in it and die, it's called that because there is no water flow, and no creatures swim in it. That is why it is called the dead sea. It doesn't seem to exist, it's like it is dead.
There are many rivers that flow into inland bodies of water that are not connected to the generality of the oceans and seas. One that comes to mind is the Jordan. Curiously, most of those large inland bodies of water are called seas! E.g. the Aral Sea, the Caspian Sea, the Dead Sea.
affluent - sea water effluent - river water (the flow out of sea) influent - river water (the flow into sea)
There is no canal between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea. The lower level of the Dead Sea would result in a huge flow of water down to that body of water and it would have some major ecological impacts. It has been discussed as one way of generating electricity.
The source of the dead sea is all the salt that the water has (the dead sea is the saltiest body of water in the world).
it joins the river ouse
The dead sea water has large salt deposits, which make it the saltiest sea in the world.
River water picks up salt from the ground and carries it along. Normally, the rivers flow into the sea. In the case of the Dead Sea, the water evaporates and leaves the salt behind, just as has happened to the Great Salt Lake in Utah.
River jordan
salt water is found in the sea. Saltwater can also be called brine.
