"LIQUID DOES have a definite volume but does NOT have a definite shape."- Earth Science Reviewing the Essentials
Yes, it does. any substance that is not a gas has a definite volume. Gases spread out to use up all of the space they can, so no matter what, the gas fills the space. Liquids and solids don't have enough kinetic energy to do that.
Water does not have a definite volume. It takes the shape of its container. Football is awesome and every other sport sucks
water has no defenite shape, for its molecules are different with the molecules of solid things.
No, it doesn't have a definite volume or definite shape, but however liquid of water might have definite volume.
No state of matter corresponds to this. Solids are the only state with definite shape, but they have a definite volume too.
Water does not have a definate shape or volume because it takes the shape of any container it is put into.
There is no such state of matter. Solid has a definite shape and volume, liquid has a definite volume but not a definite shape, gases have neither a definite shape nor a definite volume.
The answer is D, liquids are extremely difficult to compress and do not not have a definite shape, but a constant volume
definite shape and volume. to keep it simple
WATER has no definite shape but has definite volume.
WATER has no definite shape but has definite volume.
Water vapour does not have definite shape and does not have definite volume.
WATER has no definite shape but has definite volume.
WATER has no definite shape but has definite volume.
WATER has no definite shape but has definite volume.
Water.
WATER has no definite shape but has definite volume.
Water (as a liquid) has a definite volume but no shape; a gas hasn't a definite volume or shape.
Gas doesn't have a definite volume. Liquid has a definite volume but not shape. Solid has a definite shape and volume.
im assuming that you meant definite shape and definite volume, in which case it would be a solid. Water has a definite volume, but not shape; and a gas has indefinite for both
liquid does have definite volume, but it does not have a definite shape.Only ice (solid) phase has a definite volume and shapeIce( solid state), since solids are the only state of matter that has a definite mass volume and shape
