My granny used to say that wearing makeup makes you look the one who needs in no time. So some girls are not allowed to use make-up or talk about beauty concepts till they leave home. But in reality, the sunscreen and vitamins in some cosmetics can protect your skin from premature aging.

∙ 12y agoNo, this is an old wifes tale. However, some make-up can affect how your skin changes. The reason people think make-up makes you age faster is because, you may have heard that make-up gives you spots and redness. This is partially true, because it also dulls your skin a bit, and gives it a more grey-ish appearance. So, theoretically, it dosen't make your skin age, but it changes how it develops.
