My granny used to say that wearing makeup makes you look the one who needs in no time. So some girls are not allowed to use make-up or talk about beauty concepts till they leave home. But in reality, the sunscreen and vitamins in some cosmetics can protect your skin from premature aging.
No, this is an old wifes tale. However, some make-up can affect how your skin changes. The reason people think make-up makes you age faster is because, you may have heard that make-up gives you spots and redness. This is partially true, because it also dulls your skin a bit, and gives it a more grey-ish appearance. So, theoretically, it dosen't make your skin age, but it changes how it develops. Hope this helps.
Probably not, but wearing a lot of cheap, badly made make-up is not good for your skin or body.
yes
Not necessarily. MAC itself is not bad for your skin, but ANY makeup brand can & will age you if you're not taking care of yourself i.e. not washing all your off before going to bed, not moisturizing your skin, or staying out in the sun without SPF
you should be 13 or 14 when you start wearing makeup. It depends on the type of makeup, if it is natural then 13 is a good age but if it is very ott you are planning to wear then i would suggest 16. Please don't wear makeup young because it looks bad and it ruins your skin.
I think girls should start wearing makeup whenever they feel like it (not feel pressured to wear it just because other girls their age are wearing it). But I think that a good age to start wearing makeup (apart from special occasions e.g. wedding, etc) is about 11. I started wearing makeup (just mascara and eyeliner) when I was about 11, and when I was 13 I started wearing proper makeup (foundation, lipstick, etc) :)
no, but it is really bad for your skin
Well, experimenting with makeup is okay, but makeup could ruin your skin. I would suggest waiting a while longer, you might just see that wearing makeup isn't that important. However if you have uneven skin color, there are types of makeup that can even it out, at your age though, I would just stick to lip gloss and face glitter.
bill started wearing makeup by the age of 9 , it was for a vampire costume for Halloween and since that time bill has Ward makeup
Yes.
the usual time where kids start wearing and experimenting with makeup is at the age of 12 or 13. When they start junior high or seventh grade. i wasnt aloud till 9th grade but id say about 8th
Loreal Age Perfect foundation makeup is excellent for mature skin.
I started wearing Makeup at about 12. This is the PERFECT age to start wearing it. When I was 12, I became obsessed with it. I had 3 full lipgloss drawers, and a whole seperate lipstick drawer, eyeliner drawer, etc. I still have a love for makeup thats why I started my very own blog!
