Well, using a tape measure on my 1986 Lincoln town car signature Series...the hood (from the chrome strip on its end at the windshield to the other end just before the hood ornament) is just shy of 54 inches long. It is 59 inches from the beginning of the hood, to the hood ornament (not attached to the hood, it is part of the grille) and 61.75 inches to the front of the grille. To go from the start of the hood (about 3 inches from the windshield) to the leading edge of the front bumper guards it is about 67.5 inches. Hope this is helpful
30 inches
The distance should be 30 inches between stove top and hood.
That would be the HOOD , that opens to gain access to the engine compartment
In automotive terms it would be what you would open to gain access to the engine compartment.
Yes he is
I really don't think there is a hood open warning.
no not really but you can get his scythe
Don't really know
Pull hood release inside by driver's door. In the front of the hood is a lever, push the lever to the right (toward the passenger side. Pull the hood straight forward. It will move 2 or 3 inches. Then go to the front of the hood by the windshield and pull up. The hood opens opposite of a regular hood.
