people who are anemic crave ice mainly because of lack of oxygen distribution to the body. ice contains oxygen, so that's a good explanation. moreover, i don't understand why people with severe anemia, like myself, don't crave water.
crave your name on hearts not on marble
The craving to chew ice is normally a sign of sexual frustration, not a heart problem
The heart gets the oxygen from the red blood cells that "trade" CO2 for oxygen in the lungs and travels back up to the heart and gives the heart a bit of the oxygen and then gives the rest of the oxygen to the other organs (like the alveoli and the liver and the gut ect)
It is the heart that pumps fresh oxygen in the blood.
blood coming from the HEART is rich in oxygen
Blood with no oxygen (the blood that flows to the heart picks up oxygen from the lungs).
I believe all organs (including the heart) require oxygen.
I crave for a D.S.Chocolate!
The heart beats accelerates because your organs need more oxygen and the heart pumps the oxygen into the blood and when you need more oxygen than normal your heart rate is faster than normal.
the heart does not give the body it's oxygen it is the lungs. The heart is used to pump the blood to the lungs to pick up oxygen and then to pump the blood throughout the body and add oxygen to the blood cells.
The organs most sensitive to deprivation of oxygen are the heart and the brain.
