∙ 14y agoIt could be a burnt out fuse. Also, did the vehicle come with the cigarette lighter or was it purchased after you bought the car? I've noticed the cheap-os from gas stations usually dont work. I sometimes think it has to do with all these smoking bans!

Check the fuse box. Usually the lighter, dash panel and sunroof are on the same fuse. But they might be on different. Anyway it looks like a typical fuse problem.
