Yes I'm sure they do smell. This is probably caused from the increased amounts of methane gas in it. If you light a match behind them when they fart it will make a flamethrower. Either that or you will get a really odd reaction from putting a match up their butt. If you dont believe it give them some durian and wait for them to fart. ENJOY :D
