It depends on the severity of the break.
You can indeed join the Army if you have had surgery on your broken leg. This is of course as long as you can still use it to function properly.
To heal a broken leg you want to make sure that you go see a doctor. They will need to put a cast on it and in some cases, surgery might even be necessary to help it heal.
You should always check with your Veterinarian before doing something like this. The cast is on there to hold your dog's hind leg in a certain position for it to heal properly.
lame
No!
2008 he has surgery on his left leg, although it wasn't broken.
surgery time!
Take it to the vet
Sure.
Generally speaking: no. However, a broken leg requires veterinary care as soon as possible.
I sincerely hope that your dog has been taken to your Veterinarian and the broken leg treated with surgery or set properly. The dog can eat its regular dog food, make sure it is a good name brand dog food and not some generic version. Don't let the dog go around with a broken leg without any sort of treatment, is very painful and infection will set in and he or she will die a very painful and slow death. I am sure you would not want that for yourself if you had a painful death. I am going to assume that the leg has been treated by your Veterinarian. Just feed a good name dog food.
no way of telling w/o an exam. If the parts are still aligned a splint might be enough, but if the ends are pointing every which way surgery is often needed.
