I would take her into your Veterinarian for a complete check up and bring a stool sample in too. Is she on Heartworm prevention once a month? There could be a lot of things wrong as she is 13 years old. Make sure you have her on a Senior type food, and a good name brand. I personally like Natural Choice Senior food. When they get older the older dogs need a lower amount of protein but a higher quality of protein. This helps their kidneys and liver out.
She needs blood work done by her Vet. All dogs should have a yearly check up anyway. Also try adding some canned dog food to her dry food. The bottom line is to find out why she is losing weight.
