Breeders for these dogs are incredibly difficult to find in the UK. I would suggest looking into breeders from the United States who would transport a dog to the UK for you.

There is no accurate way to answer this. It is NOT a legal requirement to register ALL dogs in the UK. Even if it was - I doubt the general public would have access to the database or statistics.
Instead of buying a 'cheap' dog - a better option would be to foster one from a rescue centre such as Dogs Trust or the RSPCA. Dogs obtained from rescue centres are neutered to prevent further breeding.
