Depends if you overreact. I had my left side done in September 07 and my right side done May 09. Neither sides hurt. Just relaxe, don't tense up, and breathe.

All piercings hurt for long if done by someone unprofessional. If you get it done at a shop it doesn't hurt much after. If you get one make sure you clean the piercing everyday as well as the hole
