Yes they are all true definitions in the Encarta World English Dictionary.
The words in the dictionary are in there to make a note of all words that are spoken so if you do not know what they mean you can look them up. They come from the English Language :)

An English dictionary wouldn't really be all that helpful for beginning English learners. Textbooks, computer programs, or an instructor would be most beneficial for learning English while the dictionary would be helpful to those who already understand some English to learn new words or different meanings of words.
yes it is because Spanish, french and German is easier than English because there is more words in English than there is in Europe.
There is no way to list all of the words. You can look on any online dictionary and find plenty of W words however.
