The short answer is yes. However it depends on how comfortable you are doing so. If you have smoked a lot and feel very woozy or uneasy I would not advise it because you can easily clue yourself away to police officers by slight swerving, driving too slow or too fast, etc. I used to be a frequent smoker and would drive almost all the time while high and it was actually quite enjoyable. I don't do so anymore though just because the dangers associated with it, as well as the amount of trouble you can get into now with most police departments having the capabilities of detecting marijuana usage with drivers, which is now a DUI. If you are going to smoke and drive be careful but not paranoid, studies have shown that some drivers may actually drive better and pay more attention! It all varies by person. Bottom line though it's illegal and can land you in jail, so that's the only barrier between you and the wheel.
