I had a mystery stain that I tried to get out of one of my favorite blouses and failed. I thought the garment was ruined. I decided to take it to Dryclean Pro on Stevens Creek Blvd. The staff was very friendly and told me they thought they could remove the stain but I was still skeptical. When I picked the blouse up a few days later I was amazed that they did indeed remove the stain and the blouse looks good as new.
Petrol is not used to dryclean clothing. I believe the most common fluid is 'benzene', a petroleum derivative that is quite different from petrol.
Usually every 2nd or 3rd wearing. But if you perspire a lot, do it more often. And get the slacks pressed more often anyway, so the creases stay sharp.
Vinegar and water is a great combo for removing smoke from your home walls that are latex painted. Shampoo the carpets, and wash or dryclean all cushion covers and window coverings.
