In washing and drying processes, "reflux" refers to the phenomenon where a portion of the liquid solvent (usually water) is returned to the washing or drying chamber rather than being fully expelled. This can help maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels, improving the efficiency of the drying process. It also ensures that the washing solution remains concentrated, enhancing the removal of dirt and stains from fabrics. Reflux can contribute to better energy efficiency and reduced water consumption in washing and drying machines.
