Pesach is the Hebrew name for the holiday of Passover. Pesach is when Jews recount the story of the Exodus. The holiday is 7 days in Israel and 8 days outside of Israel.
Passover (Pesach) is celebrated in Nissan according to the Jewish calendar. This usually falls out in April according to the Gregorian calendar. The holiday is 7 days long in Israel and 8 days outside of Israel. In 2008, Passover starts on April 19th. In 2009, April 9th. In 2010, March 30.
Pesach is celebrated with 1 or 2 Passover Sedarim, depending on how religious you are. It also depends where you live if you live in Israel, there is only one Seder for everybody. If you live in the diaspora (outside of Israel) then there two sedarim are celebrated (unless you aren't religious). During Pesach, no leavened bread may be eaten. On the first and last days of yom tov (see a Jewish calendar) work may not be done. During the internediate days of Of Pesach, called Chol HaMoed, some work may be done. But no writing and washing clothes, among others. The list would be quite long so I will leave it at that
Sabbath, Pesach, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkoth.
There is no specific place that is used during Pesach. Pesach is celebrated in the home with a ritual meal called a "seder". There are also special services in the synagogue on the first, second, and last days of the holiday.
1) In the days prior to Pesach (Passover), the house is cleaned in order to remove chametz (leavened products). Even crumbs and traces are cleaned away. This is because the Torah forbids leavening during Pesach (Exodus ch.12). Any remaining leavened products (bread, cookies, cakes, pasta, etc.) are either sold to a Gentile or discarded.2) The kitchen-utensils, dishes and cutlery are stored away, and the special utensils for Pesach are brought out.3) On the day before the Pesach seder, the appropriate foods are prepared. As a nation, Israel doesn't celebrate Christmas. However, it is celebrated by the Israeli Christian community, as well as Christian tourists who pour in every year to celebrate it where the story took place. Just as in most other Christian communities worldwide, it's observed on December 25th.

They celebrate weddings, birthday, party, youth gatherings and child birthday. The only time they don't celebrate is during funerals.
