Yes! It is perfectly fine to categorise questions from the Uncategorised category for this mission.
By doing so you are helping lots of questions be answered quicker because they are in their correct category where they can be seen by an expert in that area.
The only one I've come across so far - is the Uncategorised section.
Click on "Browse Categories" on the blue sidebar on the left. Use the search box to type "uncategorized" then click "go"
step 1 categorise step 2 answer a lot of questions step 3 ask a lot of questions this might sound like alot but its simple way.
Questions are separated into categories. Some people have favourite categories (mine include United Kingdom, Wiki Answers, Open Office and many more). Other people just like the 'random' questions in the Uncategorised section. All questions are listed in the order they've been asked - newest first.
No, questions that you edited before joining The Initiates Program do not count towards your total for the editing questions mission. Similarly, any questions that you edited whilst on a previous mission do not count towards your total either. It is only the questions you edit from the start date of your mission that count towards the mission. You can check how many questions you have edited by clicking on "My contributions" on the blue menu and filtering to "Questions (edited)".
No, questions that you answered before joining The Initiates Program do not count towards your total for the answering questions mission. Only answers from the date you begin the mission count towards your total. You can check your total number of answers by clicking on "My contributions" on the blue menu and filtering to "Answers (new)".
No, members of The Initiates Program (TIP) cannot lock questions. Members do not gain any extra tools when they join the program. Locking questions is a supervisor-only tool.

You will now instead be asked to complete an end-of-program questionnaire to be eligible for graduationThose who have already reached the new requirements will automatically complete the mission (unless they haven't done it properly). The official program page will be updated shortly to reflect this, if it hasn't been already. You would have also been contacted by a TIP Supervisor to inform you of the changes. As always, let your TIP Supervisor know when you have completed your mission.
The Initiates Program (TIP) is a program on Answers.com with the aim of preparing contributors for a supervisory role on the site. Contributors are trained in splitting alternates, recategorizing, removing flags from questions, editing questions, editing answers and answering questions. In order to become a member of TIP you must first answer 20 questions with well-researched, high-quality and unique answers. If you are interested in becoming a member then you should contact either Jsarino, Xnicola or Skullcandy88.See the related links and questions for more information on the program.
There are currently 7 missions in TIP that need to be completed in order to graduate. They cover answering questions, recategorising, dealing with flags, sorting alternates, editing questions, editing answers and a final survey.
I believe you're just genuinely good natured.
