the wilderness trail? :D
Daniel Boone hunted in Kentucky and figured out the best places to put farms villages and cities. He encouraged people to move to Kentucky and built the road through the Southern Appalachian Mountains called Wilderness Road. It allowed people to cross the mountains and move to farms and houses in Kentucky and Tennessee. It opened up that part of the United States to settlement by Pioneers. It was the only way south of the southern border of Pennsylvania and the Port of Mobile to cross the Appalachian Mountains. Abraham Lincoln's father used that road when he went from Indiana to Asheville, North Carolina to help build the hotel that Thomas Wolf described in his novel, You Can't Go Home Again. He did a few other things. He spoke out for liberty against the tyranny of England when he served in the Legislatures of North Carolina and Virginia. He fought in the Revolutionary War and provided much of the ammunition used in the great American victory in the Battle of Kings Mountain. He overextended himself in Kentucky and went bankrupt. He fled to St. Louis, which was under Spanish rule. The Spanish Governor gave him a large land grant in Missouri where he lived the rest of his life.
We fought the British and the Hessians in the Revolutionary war.
George Washington crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776 as a precursor to the Battle of Trenton, in which the American army sneak attacked and seized victory over the Hessian's.
I also have a Daniel Boone shotgun, 12 guage. Do you know who made this gun? I need to replace the stock. Daniel Boone Gun Company: Trade name used by the Belknap Hardware Company of Louisville, Kentucky on firearms they retailed, 1900-1935. It is most likely a single shot or double barrel. The first would be worth $40-$80 and the second $150-$250, depending on the condition, if you can find an interested buyer (the name may generate a little interest). Finding a stock might be possible if you can determine the actual manufacturer's model. If there is a model number on the gun, it might be in Numrich Gun Parts' cross reference list, but all the Belknap guns listed are Springfield/Stevens/Savage models, so you might look for parts for their models 67, 87N, 87J, 94C, 94D, 120, 745, 940E, 947, or 947B.
Not exactly sure what your question is, but Hitler did receive the Iron Cross, first and second class during WW1.

I'm not really sure exactly what you mean, but Daniel Boone's Wilderness Trail was utilized by him and his followers to cross through the Appalachian Mt Range. You can find more information on it here: http://www.danielboonetrail.com/

Daniel Morgan introduced an entirely new type of army in the Revolutinary War. He taught his men to hide in the Forrest and await the British soldiers to cross the road in front of them so they could shoot at them. this was an entirely new battle strategy that was never before used because all soldiers were used to standing in a line across the battle field firing at each other.
