Depends on if you're talking about the Dynasty Warriors Online game, released by Aeriagames Entertainment.

Anyways here is a small howto:

You can control the movement by using WASD or the Arrow Keys for movement.

J for normal attacks K for Charge attacks

and if you wanna do combos you can alternate between the 2.

Example: Double Tap J and instantly follow up with K That will release a combo attack. (this is by the way explained in the tutorial quests)

An easier way to attack (in my opinion) is to use the mouse buttons.

(just remember you won't move forward in the tutorial quest if you use the mouse buttons there)

All Controls can be set up to suit your own preference.

Upgrade your toon while in battle... check the lower left corner on your screen to see what kinda upgrade you can have.. "Combo" is a very useful upgrade!

and when you have upgraded "Combo" to 3 stars.. you get an Advanced Upgrade That gives you a special ability for an X amount of time. Type of advanced upgrade is determined by what kinda weapon you are using.

Be Aware: There are different type of upgrade options in addition to the "combo" which applies for all weapons other upgrades is depending on what kinda weapon you have equipped.

Lieutenant: is a helper (pet), you get your first one in a quest, more can be farmed in different areas but have random spawn points so you will just have to stay alert to see em

They also get upgraded during a battle.

To execute a upgrade collect the flasks that the enemies you killed dropped and check your lower left corner to see what upgrade is available.

Example: If you collect 4 flasks you can upgrade your lieutenant by pressing "i" (on default) Note: Lieutenant is always upgradeable after collecting 4 Flasks, no matter what kinda weapon you are using) and you will see the upgrade was successful by the star under the name of the upgrade turning white.

Just remember NOT to pick up any other flasks before you have executed the upgrade you want cause that will cause you to move on to the next upgrade available.

I think that's the most basic... but everything is also explained in the tutorial quests you get when you first start playing the game.

One thing is for sure tho.. the game is very addictive!
