First you need to battle a Pokemon and try to LOWER it's HP. Putting it to sleep, paralyze, freeze, may make it easier to catch too. Then throw a Pokeball, Great Ball, Nest Ball, Net Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball, Heal Ball and ETC.
