There isn't any shortcuts for shiny pokemon, it all depends on luck

Well, there are 2 ways that I know of. 1. (the hard way, it takes a long time) Breed pokemon in the Day Care untill you get a shiny. 2. (easy way) Get an Action Replay and find a code for it.
