hi i have just found out im 5 weeks pregnant and the last 2 days i keep getting sharp pains in my lower stomach (in the centre).
last time i was pregnant i cant remember getting any pains, no even cramp feelings.
i phoned my doctor this morning and basically he was unsure but he did say if it was an ectopic pregnancy is would be an ongoing pain more than a sharp pain. this did make me feel better but would like to know if other women have the same pains as me during early pregnancy,
also i have seen that other people have put on here that when the stomach is stretching sharp pains can occur but i asked my doc' if this could be the case and he said no and laughed but i have noticed that a lot of people on here have been told that so would like to know more about this
