92%
for oil fired furnace it is 4% , n for induction billte heater it is around 1%.
A space heater is basically used to warm up a finite space. Instead of using a heating unit or a furnace to warm up the entire house, a space heater heats a limited area. The result is a lower cost and more efficiency.
Not if it was disconnected properly
if your heater just went out in your house and you need a really good electrical furnace you should really consider getting a whole new furnace from a hardware store or a heater store.
heater, boiler, oven
Furnace, woodstove, heater
Good question.A furnace is a enclosure in which energy in non thermal form (e.g. a fuel) is converted into heat. The inside of the enclosure becomes an intensely hot place.A heater is an apparatus that heats or provides heat.In refineries, the terms "furnace" and "heater" are used interchangeably, sometimes with the word "fired" in front of heater.
Furnaces have no RPM ratings
For the state energy efficiency rebates you should be able to go to your state government website and fill out the application online or print the necessary forms for this purpose.
we can increase boiler efficiency by recovering the heat which is being carried by flue gases.by incorporating different things like Economizer, Air pre-heater , Super-heater and feed-water heater, we can there ll be notable increase in efficiency of boiler.
Heaters have an efficiency around 99%.
Yes you can do that. I had an oil fired furnace that also heated the hot water in a coil inside the furnace. I got an electric hot water heater and had a plumber disconnect the coil in the furnace and hook up the electric hot water heater. No problems after four years.
