The idle speed needs adjusted upward if an engine stalls when you take your foot off the accelerator while stopping or turning.
The torque converter clutch may be staying engaged, causing it to kill the engine when stopping.

The float level in the carburetor is either to high and floods the engine while turning and it dies.If it's to low then fuel goes to one side of the fuel boal in the carburetor when turning and engine leans out / RUNS OUT OF FUEL. and dies.Adjust float level in carb.
usually in any vehicle when the battery dies if you keep turning the key there will be a ticking sound and since the battery has no power left it wont turn over your engine therefor it not being able to start however if the battery is just fine you got me
