manual clutch out of balance automatic put your foot on the brake and if that doesn't work go to a garage
The engine's supposed to stay idle, so if your car engine completely stops igniting, you have a problem there and might need to take it to maintenance just to be safe.
could be motor mounts, does the engine "rock" when you put it in gear? Have someone put it in gear while you look under the hood.

Assuming the vehicle doesn't move when you put it in gear, it sounds like the clutch is blown.
The engine has problems; when the engine is put into gear it becomes loaded but does not have the power to support the load at idle. Have it scanned for possible faults/codes, run diagnostic on the engine, and/or tuning it up may help.
A motor will die when put in gear if there is a major vacuum leak. This causes an excessive amount of air to enter the engine and lean out the fuel mixture.
check the side stand switch , this cuts out the engine if it (the side stand) is down when you put the bike in gear .
The brake pad squealers are warning you to have the brakes serviced soon.

The engine size should not matter when going down a hill, as long as you dont put it in too low of a gear and over rev your engine.
