Check the sensors, mine did the same thing and it was the sensors
It turns clockwise when viewed from the belt side of the engine.
The engine computer turns it on at start up for a bulb check. If it stays on the computer has detected a malfunction and set a code.
wont start The starter engages and turns the engine over but the engine fails to run. And you cant do it not even if sober. The words of modest mouse.
If the starter turns over, uaually the fuel pump. I have had luck by hitting the fuel tank under the pump with a hammer (the tank is a heavy plastic) that jars the pump back to life.
A broken timing chain is possible.
Start at 1 1/2 turns from seat and then adjust for best idle
engine cranks but wont start means one of these things.. Air, Fuel, Spark, or compression
That engine needs fuel, compression and spark to start and run. You are missing one of those.
Basics, If the battery is OK and the starter just clicks it is the starter. If the starter turns the engine over but won't start it could be a crankshaft or camshaft sensor or fuel pump. It needs to be diagnosed or it can be extremely costly to just replace a lot of unnecessary parts in it.
For most vehicles, the fuel pump only turns on briefly when you try to start the engine. If the engine doesn't start, the pump turns off. You need to test the fuel pressure with the engine running.
It is getting fuel/spark/ compression?
