I think u ask about Performance Appraisal Methods. Usually we need performance appraisal methods to evolute the contribution of the employee during the past year and to provide the feedback for improvement in industries. it also helps the supervisor to know about the pros and cons of employees and train them to the correct path. Broadly it is classified in to two categories. they are: traditional and modern Traditional methods are listed below: 1) Grading Method: Employee is categorized as A, B or C based on some weights assigned to them. 2) Straight Rating: U will assigned for some work and u will rated based on your performance. 3) Paired Comparison Method: U will compared with other employees and u will be rated based on that 4) Man-to-Man Analysis: U will rated based on some factor like leadership, initiative, innovative.. 5) Unstructured method: Not follow any specific rules or procedures. highly depends on your supervisor. 6) Checklist Method: Normal question and answer form. Modern Methods: 1) BARS (Behaviorally Anchoring Rating Scales) based on aspects of the employee behavior 2) MBO (Management By Objectives) Based on predefined objectives which are agreed by both employee and supervisor. 3) 360 Degree Feedback: Based on different angels and objectives.
