Implicit memory is the "know how" of a person mind. It is what someone can do without thinking it through. Many believe this trait is passed through genetically through talents and family. Others argue implicit memory is learned over time through training and memorization.?æ

Explain what a union type is, and briefly discuss the design issues for them. Give an example of declaring and using a union type in any language you know?

A union can be pictured as a chunk of memory that is used to store variables of different data types. Once a new value is assigned to a field, the existing data is overwritten with the new data. The memory area storing the value has no intrinsic type (other than just bytes or words of memory), but the value can be treated as one of several abstract data types, having the type of the value that was last written to the memory area.

Can an float value be assigned to int variable?

Yes, an integer can be assigned as a float value. But it get stored as a float value, that is an implicit type conversion occurs during compilation.Smaller data types are convertible to larger data types.eg:float b=12;// an integer constant is assigned to a float variableprintf("%f",b);// when printing b it will print as 12.000000
