She did not attempt to take over. Rather, she remained a modest servant of Jehovah. "Without fail I shall go with you," she told Barak. (Judges 4:9) She was willing to leave home-a place of greater security-to join Barak for the impending battle. Deborah too exemplifies faith and courage.
