Can you explain the line people who need people are the luckiest people in the world?

I think it means that if you only need a person, and nothing else, you are lucky because there are many people who might need you too.It seems we are social animals. People that are aware of that, accept it and tend to blend, and bond with other people ( they have to overcome fear of rejection, or other negative possibilities to fulfill the need not to be alone, isolated, or separate from others. So, it might be said they are lucky, to be aware of the fact that they are willing to experience life beyond self.Opposed to those whom experience the misery of isolation, loneliness, & are totally immersed in self. IE. the term selfish. Which, maybe lead to mental and spiritually unhealthy character traits which are "contagious" if you will. And, self-defeating attitudes that are passed on and cause all sorts of problems latter on. Understandably, they seek a safe place where no one can hurt them........On the other hand, it might be said that the pain and variety of those shared experiences with others helps us grow stronger & confident: in that; interaction, better equips us to learn how to respond to different situations & people rather than avoiding them completely. Which in turn is contagious on the positive & nurturing side of things. "Cause we PASS THAT STRENGTH ON SO OTHERS CAN GROW TOO therefore WE that do choose to turn on to others at a safe distance/carefully, play a role in helping to make a better world, for them, ourselves and those they interact with down the line. Ergo the term 'luckiest people in the world"
