It is difficult to walk on an icy road, because your feet keep slipping on the ice.
sliding friction opposes motion on road
It is difficult to walk on a slippery road because the friction between your shoes and the road is compromised. When you stand, its not so much an issue, as most or all of the force vector from your body is pointing down. When you walk, however, there is a horizontal component of the force vector, which is what is accelerating you in a horizontal direction. Since the road is slippery, the coefficient of friction between your shoes and the road is less, causing the tendency to slip or fall.
When you are running on a road ,you are acted upon by frictional force of the road.Is there another force of friction acting on you ? name and explain
When a car is on a curve, centrifugal force tends to force it outwards. Normally, this force is resisted by the car's tires gripping the road surface. However, ice on the road reduces the friction and therefore the tires cannot grip so well.
Because the pointy rocks stap your feet

The answer to this will vary. You can ride a horse on a road barefoot, provided the horses hooves are strong enough to handle it. If however the horse becomes sore or chips/wears down it's hooves too quickly you would do better to put boots or shoes on the horse for road riding.
Because of the friction between brake pads and rim.Friction applys a forse opposed to the moving direction of rim

There were thee types of Roman roads:1) The via munita was the stone-paved road, paved with rectangular blocks of local stone, or polygonal blocks of lava. It had a military purpose. It sped up the movement of troops to the front and made the transport of supplies to the front or to garrison quicker and easier.2) The via Glareata was an earthed road with a graveled surface.3) The via terrena wasa rural road of leveled earth.
