Loudness, pitch and timbre are approximately the correlates of signal amplitude, frequency and frequency spectrum, respectively.

Velocity of wave = frequency * wavelength (the universal wave equation does not involve amplitude) There is no direct relationship between the amplitude and the wavelength of a wave and therefore if the amplitude increases the wavelength will not necessarily change.

Sound can be measured by amplitude (loudness) and pitch (The frequency of the vibrations). Therefore sound does not affect frequency but frequency affects the pitch of the sound.
