Energy drinks give you a boost of energy, but sports drinks restock the nutrients you lost while exercising.
No, however there are several acidic ingredients such as Absorbic Acid and Citric acid which can give you terrible stomach ulcers. If I were you, I wouldn't advise drinking Lucozade. There are other healthier alternatives like apples and bananas which are great energy boosters.
Yes, you can buy lucozade in America. They sell it at some major chain grocery stores. Or, you can find them in Asian grocery stores. Lastly, any Irish import grocery store will have it. It's easy to find in Chicago since we have a high population of both Irish and Asian. Its available on-line to buy. Here is an infomative site about it: http://www.buy-british-food-usa.com/ They link to a store called Poppys Pantry: http://poppyspantry.com/

Scientifically, I don't know this answer to this, but generally speaking, yes. I have found that drinking too much Lucozade is bad for me. Drinking Lucozade whenever I feel thirsty all day every day leaves me feeling very sick and as though acid is continually building up in my system.
As someone who has been diagnosed with Epilepsy, I suffer from what is called 'myoclonic jerks' or 'twitches' and these become noticeably worse as my intake of Lucozade increases and I therefore have had to cut back on how often I drink it, only buying one bottle when in need of an energy boost if I am ill or on the rare occasion when my blood sugar level can be known to drop.
In conclusion, I don't believe that Lucozade is bad for your health when it is consumed in moderation, however when the intake of this particular drink exceeds two per day, a negative effect can be the only result.

Lucazade is an energy drink. It gives you loads of energy which will finish very quickly therefore you will tend to drink more for more energy when you have finished with the previous sip of lucazade.

As you can see, there is an awful lot of sugar in that drink - there are 4 grams per teaspoonful, so this drink has ...
