Blown fuse, defective fan control switch, defective blower motor resistor pack, or defective blower motor.
Why does your ac and heater fan turn off and on
There are a couple of reasons why a heater fan isn't working in a 1007 Malibu. The fuse may be blown for the fan or the fan motor may need to be replaced.
fan motor could be bad
first of all i hate to say an obvious answer but does the heater motor even turn. Does it blow air at all. The first thing i would check is if the fan motor is blowing any air at all. If not u need to put in a new heater fan motor. first of all i hate to say an obvious answer but does the heater motor even turn. Does it blow air at all. DON'T turn it on.
check heater fan to see if it is working.
my heater fan in front of my 2004 chevy venture van wont work
the heater blows warm air when fan is on low but blows cold air when fan is turn to higher setting
Sounds to me like the turn signals and the heater fan may be on the same fuse?? Jack
It sound like the thermostat is broken
Replace the climate control/fan circuit fuse.
if the problem is the front heater fan wont blow, the reason why it works in the rear and not the front is because there are two separate fans. the fan for the front heater is under the glovebox. remove its plug and check it with a test light in all positions of the fan switch. the light should turn on in every position except "off". if it does, replace the fan/motor assembly by removing the 3 screws that hold it in.
