first start off with normal trees until level 15. from there start cutting oaks until you reach level 30. Then from THERE start cutting Willows until level 45. Then start cutting maples until you are level 60 woodcutting.Then start cutting yews until level 99. If you are F2P this is the best way to get 99 woodcutting. for members keep cutting yews at level 60 until you reach level 68. AT level 68 start cutting ivy(ONLY IF YOU'RE A MEMBER) then train on ivy until level 99.

You either can go for Money or Experience; Ovbiously everyone would want Money, However! The money way will take any where from 3months to a year. The easier route (That would make more money in the long run) is Ivy the 2009 Update, currently the fastest way to 99 Woodcutting. Requiring 68 Woodcutting, it is VERY popular. This is the best route.

Choking Ivy:Ivy, referred to in the skill guide and its members examine text as Choking ivy, is a vine which can be cut down by members. It was released along with the Woodcutting Rebalance update update on 23 September 2009. They grow against certain walls in cities. You need level 68 Woodcutting to chop this vine, but you will not obtain an item by doing so. When an ivy vine is chopped down the remains will be an ivy stump. The respawn rate is 40 seconds. Chopping grants 332.5 Woodcutting experience, which is the most Woodcutting experience available for cutting.
