Because pterosaurs are not feathered, while caudipteryx's very name means, tail-feather. Microraptor, unlike any known animal in the world, had four feathered wings. Additionally, there are more skeletal similarities between microraptor and caudipteryx, with them both being theropods while pterosaurs were an entirely different group of animals. Some of proceeds going to Miller and Levine Biology will be spent to protect the macaws by protecting natural habitats, attempting to halt poachers, create alternative profitable income sources for these poachers, and educate the world about the birds. Feathered Nest Rescue and Adoption, Nebraska Parrot Rescue, and Wings Over the Rainbow, along with many other organisations adopt these macaws and other types of exotic birds.

Bats are the only mammals capable of flying, and they are widespread on every continent in the world except Antarctica. The Madagascan Elephant Bird was a very tall bird that was similar to an ostrich in body shape and as tall as an elephant (11.5 feet), hence their name. They walked through the jungles of Madagascar and looked a bit scary. In fact, some people think they walked and ran just like a velocipede (a feathered dinosaur). However, they were actually very gentle birds and completely vegetarian. They ate leaves, plants and herbs in the jungle. These magnificent creatures became extinct in the 16th century due to hunting. These wonderful birds had very little defence against man, despite being bigger than man, other than either running away or swiping with their talons, which didn't help often because they were peaceful birds who never attacked anything. The last known remains of the Madagascan Elephant Bird are kept in several museums over the world.
